This abstract art painting of a theater has a story of its own. A few years back I was asked by a friend to accompany him to the theater. Amateur musicians and students of a local school surprised us two with an amazing evening.
Well, why was this abstract painting of a theater made by me? What or who gave me the urge to make this theater on canvas? Actually it is due to the performance of the pianist. I was impressed about his play. Hard and loud, like a "Deep Purple" concert in my younger years.
Once at home I wondered if it was possible to translate this sound onto an oil painting. Was this possible? And what colors should I use? I know what I heard and saw, but I was looking for a way to put "expression" and "sound" harmonically on canvas.
